BOB HENSON

Originally from Canton, NC and currently living in Lenoir, NC, Bob has been performing music for the past 43 years. He plays several instruments and writes songs whenever he finds inspiration. Bob is a retired educator with the Caldwell County Schools. He currently works with the Caldwell Arts Council Junior Appalachian Musicians Program teaching music making to youth. He also maintains 10-12 private students at any given time. Bob and wife, Debbie, have one son.
SAWYER WHITMAN

From Lenoir, NC and the youngest of the band, Sawyer has been making music for 13 years. He has accumulated several awards in banjo competitions including Raymond Fairchild Junior Banjo Competition, Mount Airy Banjo Competition, and the Happy Valley Fiddlers Convention Banjo Competition. A former member of Sweetbriar Jam from Lenoir, NC, Sawyer played banjo and guitar in addition to singing Bass and Lead vocals. Sawyer writes and records his own songs. He is active in his church as a worship leader and readily gives credit for his talents to The Lord.
